CLIMBING SIX-ATHLON CONTEST AND PARTY:
Our 6th anniversary climbing challenge! 6 years, 6 different climbing events!
$12 members (1 month, monthly, 10-punch, annual & Intro)
$26 non-members
Fee includes participation in the SIX-ATHLON and 1 (ONE) raffle ticket.
Bring an unwrapped gift and score ANOTHER raffle ticket.
Raffle prizes include:
-60m. climbing rope, annual membership, 3-month membership, 1-month membership, daypasses, shirts, clif bars, chalk balls, and MORE!
THE SIX-ATHLON, how it works (aka THE RULES):
-There will be 6 challenges per “course” (outlined below), participants will receive points based on how far they make it through each challenge DIVIDED by how many minutes it takes them to complete the entire course. (points per minute is the final score)
-There will be a “Young Jedi” course and a “Jedi Master” course.
-For the contest, each participant will be able to take 3 attempts total. Best score on each course will count.
EVENTS:
#1 Bachar Challenge : The rope ladder challenge includes wacky new ways of getting up high in the air…
#2 Burning Rubber: You will have handholds but no real footholds for this bouldering challenge…
#3 Look Ma, No Hands! : You will have footholds but no handholds for this challenge…
#4 Monkey bars : Use your imagination for this one…
#5 Dry Ice Challenge: Using indoor ice climbing simulator tools, ascend a tricksy climb as high as you can…
#6 Difficulty Climb: Use your creativity and problem solving skills to climb up these uNuSuAl and WaCkY climbs on AUTO BELAY – your time will end when your feet come back to the floor, so think FAST!
